What is Website Map Generator?

This tool crawls your website and generates multiple types of sitemaps including Google XML sitemaps, visual tree maps, and detailed URL reports.

Getting Started
  1. Enter a project name and the initial URL of your website
  2. Click "Create Project" to start
  3. Use "Start Crawling" to begin the website analysis
  4. Generate and download different types of sitemaps
Crawling Configuration

The crawler is configured to explore:

  • 4 levels deep from your starting URL
  • 5 URLs per level for focused analysis
  • Maximum 100 URLs total per project
Troubleshooting: Website Not Accessible

If you receive an error that your website is not accessible, you may need to:

  • Contact your web administrator
  • Add websitemapgenerator.com to your website's allowed crawler list
  • Update your robots.txt file to allow our user agent
  • Check if your website has CAPTCHA or bot protection

Why Cloudflare Blocks Crawlers

Cloudflare's challenge system is designed to distinguish humans from automated scripts. While we've implemented multiple techniques to appear more human-like, some sites with strict protection cannot be crawled without proper whitelisting.

  • Ask the site owner to whitelist our IP address
  • Use sitemap.xml - many sites provide this for crawlers
  • Contact support to request crawler access
  • Use APIs if the site offers structured data access
Advanced Bypass Techniques

Our crawler automatically tries multiple techniques when encountering Cloudflare protection:
• Enhanced browser emulation with realistic headers
• Multiple user-agent rotation (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
• Friendly bot impersonation (Googlebot, Bingbot)
• JavaScript rendering capabilities (when available)

Enterprise-Grade Protection

Some sites like Microcenter.com use enterprise Cloudflare with advanced protections:
• JavaScript challenge validation requiring browser execution
• TLS fingerprinting to detect non-browser clients
• Machine learning-based bot detection
• Rate limiting and IP reputation scoring

These advanced protections cannot be bypassed without human browser interaction.
